Visit Visa question.

Post by g_hanah » Mon Oct 25, 2010 12:01 pm

Hi,

I have a questions regarding visit visa and wondering if anyone could please advise me on that?

My youngest sister is planning to visit UK and she will be applying for family visit from gulf states. She has already come to UK on visit visa for about two years ago and stayed here for a month.

Firt time my brother sponsored her for visit visa.

I am wondering if her visa can be rejected if i sponsor her becuase my earning are 24k and my brother is earning 50k but i am a britsh national and he is on work permit. So who should sponsor her, me or my brother?

Thanks
G Hanah

Either one of you can.

But one who can prove the financial ability to maintain and accommodate her should be the sponsor. Up to you to decide who fits the bill (better).

Visit Visa

Hi, thanks for your reply.

The other question about supporting documents, Should i send them orignal documents or the scanned copy? I emailed the UK embassy and they said that i can send the scan copies of all supporting documents.

Last time my brother send them his orignal payslips and bank statements and they didn't return him his documents.

Should i attach my saving a/c bank statement or the one in which my salary comes?

Thanks

If I were you, I would send originals (excluding the passport of course). But if you wish to send scanned copies (as the email confirms you can do), please include a copy of this email.

Either or both, depending on what the purpose of the statement is. If purpose is evidence of income, show salary account statement. If purpose is to show availability of funds, show either or both.
