Married US wife, now a permanant resident.she wants divorce

Hi there,

I am looking for some divorce advice. I am from the UK and married my US wife in Feb 2008 in the USA. I am now a permanant U.S resident with a green card which I aquired in Feb 2010. My wife now wants to file for divorce which I am totally against, as neither of us have been unfaithful, but insits I cannot do anything about this if thats what she wants. I am just wondering how long the actual divorce will take to go thru if she persues this and what exactly the procedure is...will I be entitled to anything etc?....Also, will this effect my Immigration status as a permanant resident working in the USA?

Any help would be much appreciated.
