number of CoS allocations to a newly registered employer??

Post by arsenal49 » Sun Oct 17, 2010 11:32 pm

as per the title...

also, how long does it take for an employer to
1)get registered.
2)get a CoS

lots of people here, complaining about lack of CoS issues for those switching from post study work visa to tier 2. has it been always the case?? any light on the subject will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

1) about 6 weeks normally
2) in tier 2 you have to complete another form (not the sponsor licence form) to request 1 CoS and explain the need. The panel then sits and decides the following month whether you are to be allowed the right to issue a Tier 2 CoS to that person (this means another month delay).

Then you issue the CoS and the ON usually gets their visa refused on a technicality. Then they re-apply and get told the CoS has been "used" so they need a new one. It's a total arse of a system.
