COS - Maintenance funds letter

Dear Experts,

Last year my company had provided me a letter to cover my expenses for the first month separate to the COS printout.

I had returned to Indian branch of company after 2 months of employment and this year I am applying again. I have received the COS print out but no Maintenance funds letter. I asked for the Maintenance funds letter and the Delegation Unit can said that they have mentioned it in my COS and I will not require a separate letter.

Has anyone applied recently and knows if this is sufficient?

Yup, an A rated sponsor can verify maintenance for the employee, so they would not need to provide maintenance letter or bank statements. A B rated sponsor cannot do this.
