Does VFS Hyderabad accept DD from ICICI bank ?

Post by amit90k » Thu Oct 28, 2010 4:21 pm

All

Please let me know if VFS hyderabad accepts DD from ICICI bank. As it's clearly mentioned on the website that the DD should be from Nationalised bank or Foreigh banks like Stand Charted.

Also does VFS accept Dot matrix bank statements wit Seal and signature and ICICI logo ? I dont have the name of the bank manager ..

TIA

Regds

Hi Amit,

Check your message box for draft query.
ICICI will give you a letter statement.
Go and push for it.

Dot matri etc is all messy.
Visit a bigger branch if you don't get at small branch.

Adding to this, I too have taken dot matrix statement (with Bank name, logo, stamp and seal) from ICICI for fund maintenance. But to be on the safer side, I have also taken a letter from the bank on the letterhead stating the details as per the guidance shown below

----------------------------------------------------------
Letter from bank confirming funds and that they have been in bank for at least three months
The letter from a bank or building society should state:
your name;
the account number;
the date of the letter;
the financial institution's name and logo;
the funds held in your account; and
that enough funds have been in the bank for at least three months.
We will not accept letters which simply show the balance in the account on a particular day as these documents do not show that you hold enough funds for the full period required.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Hope this would be sufficient. If not, plz comment.

Cheers,
Gan

Dot matrix Logo and Name are present on every page but not in color. The letter I have mentioned above is on ICICI letterhead (color)

I would advice to get statement in color, regular letter head.
Color letter you have will count under maintenance fund, not 'previous earnings'.

EVEN WHEN you are on correct side of rules and case worker rejects your application, then AR and then more time and efforts.
Put those efforts with bank and get statement.

FYI, you can request ICICI physical statement from net banking as well.
It should reach you in 7-8 days. (hyderabad, I would say 5 days).

Best is getting from a branch; take manager number too.
Did you read my post at all?
