schengen visa- Letter from Employer- Format requested

Hi, I am in UK on tier 1 visa. Wanted to apply for schengen visa as a tourist. Came to know that i need a letter from employer, can anyone pls provode me a format of the letter ?

Request a standard employment letter stating start date of your job and job title.

As far as I know there is no standardized format. Just ask you employer for employment dates and some positive feedback.
