Country of Application

Hi,

Currently I am located in the US. Should I apply for the Tier 1 visa from India or the US ?. As per a visa consultant, the application can be submitted in India and then the original documents can be submitted in the US...Is this true ?

I went thru that link before posting...but it doesn't say anything about submitting the application in one country and later providing the original documents from another country.

Well, absence is also an indication of something. When you apply for a UK visa, you fulfil all the mandatory requirements at the same / one visa application centre.

It is your choice where to apply from, but you'll need to complete the process at one location.

And if the consultant tells you otherwise, drop him without thinking twice.
