need help

Post by fakhim » Sat Nov 06, 2010 2:05 pm

i am on hsmp i want to invite my parents to uk for a month in feb (first time visit to uk) but the problem is that i can apply for a short visa of six month becoz its their first visit...i have my bro here as well and he will be having his convocation in oct but for that period my parents visa would not be valid(i want them to come in convocation for 1 month as well)...
can i re apply for short visa after a month or two when my parents visa is expired (i think rule is that one can not stay more than six months in a year but i need my parents to stay only two months)
or should i go with long term visa and mention this is my letter but as my parents are applying for the first time will they get long term visa???

It will have to be one or the other. You can not possibly do both in which ever way you want to try. Max visit is 6 month and then she cant come back into teh country for another 6 months.
