CR-1 Removal

Is there a requirement on the number of days someone must spend in the US before the CR-1 status is lifted? My wife received her CR-1 status last April, but only lived in the US for a couple months before we moved to Canada. We're planning on staying in Canada for a couple more years. Will this affect the CR-1 status being removed? Thanks for any help.
