TWES work permit holder can switch to Tier2?

Post by ridoy30 » Wed Nov 10, 2010 11:27 am

Hi,

Solicitors could not take my case as they said it is very complex.I am in TWES permit holder since 2006 sep. I was student before that. I came in the UK as a student in jun 2002. My current TwES will expire in may 2011. I finished my ACCA (Certified Accountant) and a member of ACCA. in jun 2007. My company has been dissolved in july 2010 who I have TWES with.I have been looking for other jobs since then. I have one offer from one restaurant as a Managerial post cum Accountant. But they are not yet incorporated rather it is partnership business. They are going to offer me 20k.

I told them my situation, they are confused if a sole trader or a new company can apply for the license?

My question TWES permit holder can apply for tier2? I got differennt view from different solicitors.
Please help.......................

As per this UKBA document (page 6 of 81), TWES migrant can extend their stay in the UK under Tier 5.

I do not have any idea about youth mobility scheme. Anyway I passed it to one of my solicitor as he is thinking it is human right issue.
