Salaried employee have no way to evade taxMini wrote:Many Asian countries have no or little taxes (and tax evasion is easy).Really ? I was paying 40% tax before I came here from India and found it impossible to evade...
per your example...nnj10 wrote:Hi All,
Can someone please confirm that the rate of Income Tax is as per the corresponding, applicable slab or not?
e.g. somebody earniong 60000 GBP/Annum, pays tax @10% for earnings from 0-2150 + @22% for earnings from 2151-33300 + @40% from 33301-60000 GBP?
(215+6853+10680) i.e. a total tax of 17748. Is this correct structurally?
pls. help me understand the tax structure.

if the 10551 is after NI and tax deductions then you have earned a higher gross income...you can check it from your payslips and get the amount before all the deductions are made...take the sum of all those numbers and refer it to the guidelines.Cheated wrote:I earned £10,551 in the last eight months can someone tell me how many points I can claim for an HSMP extension after one year.
Well, £10,551 is after NI and Income tax deductions.
