PSW TO General Tier 1 HSMP

Hi guys

I am on psw at the moment, but my visa is going to expire in April 2011, I am wondering if i switch from psw to HSMP for extension am i gonna get three years or initially two years. one of my mate told me that my psw two years will be counted, is that right???

please help me on this...

You'll be switching from Tier 1 (PSW) to Tier 1 (General), therefore it will not be an extension application but an initial Tier 1 (General) application.
