UK VISIT VISA APPEAL REPLY FROM ABUDHABI ? HELP PLEASE

Dear Si/Madam,

With reference to your application(s) for entry clearance, please call your nearest Gerry's International Visa Application Centre on 0900 10411 any working day with the exception of public holidays to get an appointment for the submission of your passport(s).



UKBA have yet to make a final decision on your application; however, providing your passport will assist us in progressing your case. This does not guarantee that you will be issued with a visa, but will assist us in reaching a decision more quickly,



When you attend the Gerry's International Visa Application Centre, please bring with you:



§ This letter. Your passport will not be accepted at the UK Visa Application Centre if you fail to present this letter.

§ Your passport and the passport(s) of any member of your family if mentioned above. The passport(s) should have at least six months validity.

§ Please confirm your intended date

of travel and length of stay.

My questions are:


1) Is that true that the appeal is successfull and my parents will issues with visa once they will submit the passport because in email they have said "UKBA have yet to make a final decision on your application; however, providing your passport will assist us in progressing your case. This does not guarantee that you will be issued with a visa, but will assist us in reaching a decision more quickly".

2) And how long they will take to issue visa?

In my experience this normally indicates that they are prepared to give the visa, but their wordings of the letter seems to indicate they want to see your passport for reasons that they have not stated.

It might be just a check to confirm something before they stamp visa in it. If I was to gusess I am 85% sure your parents are going to get the visa that they applied for.
