Guys,

Will the new criminality threshold coming up in APRIL 2011 for ILR affect applicants on 10Yrs long residence also or is it just for Economic Migrants only?

Please advise!

Apparently for all applicants applying for settlement.
There will be a new criminality threshold, requiring all applicants applying for settlement to be clear of unspent convictions.

More details will be known as and when they are published.

Thanks sushdmehta for the response. I'm really kicking myself now as I'm due for ILR in June 2011 under 10YRS Long Residence.

I hope there will be a transitional arrangement for the new law or show some form of leniency for road traffic offenders. If not, we just have to deal with it. :?
