Tier 1 Self-employed - Urgent help needed

Post by rosewater » Fri Dec 03, 2010 1:30 am

Pls I have a question.

I am making a self employed tier 1 application and trying to understand what docs I can provide and from what source. if I have a self-employed friend or relative who can do my accounts, can I use those or do they have to be signed by a registered accountant from a registered firm?

This person is my usual business adviser/manager.

please help

For PBS purposes, one needs the services of a fully qualified chartered accountant or certified accountant, as explained in the policy guidance.

The policy guidance lists and explains the documentary evidence(s) required from self-employed applicants.

Hi,

please I have another question: do you know what happens if you make an in-country application and it is refused whether you go back to your current leave? I am currently on PSW (valid until nest june) trying to switch to tier 1 general.

Thanks you for all your comments here. They are very helpful.

Your (remaining) Tier 1 (PSW) leave will remain valid if your Tier 1 (General) application is refused.
