There has been no official word, but I have also heard today that the December cap has been met. Assuming it has, that means the January 2010 allocation will go to applicants from mid to late October. February 2010 allocations will go for late October to early to mid November. That leaves March 2010 allocations, the last of the Tier 1 (General) allocations, for applicants from early to mid November to late November to early December.During the week commencing 6 December 2010, we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 15 October 2010. This timescale is only a guideline, and some cases may take longer to consider.
Of course, I am estimating. But at this point I just don't know if I can justify spending $1200 on such a slim chance, even if I apply today.
