1. Your husband will need a spouse visa

Here is some info about the requirments he has to meet in order to qualify
http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/ecg/settlement/spouses

This is the form he needs to complete to apply for visa
http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/ ... 3073/vaf4a

Your personal and current circumstances are going to create some problems for you and your husband when he applies. These are that:

1 You dont have a job, so how are you going to support your family on arrival in teh UK.

2. Same as above for savings. What evidence and savings do you have to support your family on arrival to teh UK?

3. Housing. Where are you going to stay when you come over. Do you have family and friend and a house big enough for you to all live in?.

Remember that at the end of the day, your husbands fate will be decided on the fact that you can support, maintain and accomodate you and your family without recourse to public funds if possible.

The documents you will need to provide would be letter of employment, wage slips, bank statements, proof of accommopdation, that you are legally married, proof that you have been living together etc. However I come back to teh question, how are you going to provide above if you dont have them in te first place because of above reasons.

Its complicated and its going to be hard for you, unless you come over to teh UK first. get a job, save some money and find somewhere for you to live and then call your hubby over

Savings will certainly strengthen the application. You'll need to show that you have adequate accommodation available for when you arrive in the UK.

Savings will help, but how much is is your savings? Are you confident both or one of you can find a job on arrival in these time of economic hardship. Also how long will those saving last if you cant find a job. Will they be enough to support you all, pay your rent and other daily costs in the UK.

That is what the ECO will be looking at when assesing your husbands application for visa.

If you have sufficient funds, then that would help. You need to make sure you have accommodation etc lined up on arrival in UK.

You will need to prove and show evidence of this before you come to the UK.

Good luck

You'll need to be prepared for your husband to take the pre-entry English test before your submit your application.
