Urgent Help Needed - Withdrawal of Application???

Post by changaziraza » Fri Dec 10, 2010 12:35 am

hi,
i had student visa which was valid till 30th November 2010. The course which i m currently going will finish on 17th December 2010. I have submitted my visa extension application on 29th November.

but my sponsor have booked by tickets on 17th December 2010 but i dont have my passport with me as i hv sent that to UK BA.

i have to leave this country on 17th Dec or i will have to deal with bad consequences if i dont, from my sponsor.

so could u guys plz give me some guidance wht should i do?
should i withdraw my application?

i asked UK BA if i withdraw my application then in how many days will my passport arrive and they told me that it could take upto 15 days and it can arrive tomorrow also.

but as i mentioned that i have to complete my course also and have to leave on 17th also, so i dont have any margin.

so wht u think when i should ask UK BA to withdraw my application or is there any other way also. and also my visa has expired so will this period be counted as overstay and will i have any problem whn i return to my country?

i m waiting anxiuosly for reply.

You should inform your sponsorer that you have already submitted your application and if for any reason you have to withdraw the application it will take some time. You will inform them as soon as you have your passport back from Home Office and then they can book your return ticket.
The other option is that you can try and contact you embassy to issue you a emergency travel document.

All the best.

But how can any Tier-4 sponsor behave like this?

They are 'sponsors' not UKBA. Just tell them to cancel your ticket as you applied for visa extension. As long as UKBA has accepted your application and taking a time for decision (even it will take 1 year or 5 years) you are LEGAL in UK and nobody can force you to leave the UK.

But what is your personal circumstances you know better!
