Dear sana16

I don`t think it will affect your ILR at all. Your husband is a British citizen and it is you who is applying for ILR and not him per se. I believe if you meet the criteria for giving you ILR, you will certainly obtain it. If you are going there with your husband, he should go with all documents to explain how everything came about e.g. his losing his job, getting a new one which doesn`t bring him much money and therfore the housing benefit etc. Goodluck. The senior people like the gurus and moderators etc might hopefully add a few things to my own advice.

Your application for ILR is primarily based on your continuing relationship.Financial considerations have a very minimal effect on your application.
Your husband being on Housing benefit will have NO effect on your ILR.
As long as your relationship is ongoing there will be no problems so no need to worry

The earliest you can apply for your ILR is 28 days before the end of the 2 year period since entering the UK providing the visa is still valid
