english test/qualification?? - husand for UK visa

Not sure if this is the right section to post this query.

Basicly the husband is in Pakistan and just got married to his wife whom is a British citizen.

The husband is applying for visa to live with wife i UK.

The question is regarding the new system of passing the English test from the home country, in this case Pakistan.

The husband is educated at quite a high level, and i think he has maybe already got the English qualification through his studies.

If this is the case, then does he still need to pass the English test for the UK visa?

The course he studied in Pakistan is linked with Glasgow university.

Does he have a Batchelor's degree?

Casa im not sure the exact level of the qualification.

If it's a Batchelor's degree taught in English (not Master's) he will be exempt from the test.
