Biometrics taken again

Post by sheraz_aries » Thu Dec 16, 2010 9:59 am

Hi
I am on Tier 1 General visa, i filed by wife application from pakistan as dependant. After 20 days she recieved call from Gerrys (who deal with the visa application on behalf of UK ambassy) that due to some technical fault the fingure prints taken at time you filed your application are lost so please visit Gerrys service so that your biometrics can be done again. She visited gerrys where her biometrics was taken again, and they resumbit the whole application again and she was given a new application reference number for status tracking.(She was also given a letter from British high commission Islamabd mentioning the technical fault and applogies for any inconvenience caused)

Now my question is at the time of resubmit of the application my bank statement wont be met the 30 days from the application days, but it was valid when the application was filed first. Are we safe?

Thanks
Many Thanks

Should be, because the re-submission was a result of a fault at VAC/BHC end.

IMHO ....

Thanks for reply...Another quick question, do you think the application would be taken on some kind of fast track because of that?
Many Thanks
