hi. my friend got his hsmp approval letter( immigration act 1971-highly skilled migrant programme (hsmp) application against the qualifying criteria from-5 december 2006) on 23/04/2008. thn he got his visa on 26/10/2008 under point based system of tier 1 general migrant. he entered uk on 15/02/2009. his extension in due on 26/10/2011. now he is confused under which rule he needs to apply for extension as there are so many changes now a days.
