Every application is assessed on its merits. No one can tell you why your application is taking so long or why someone received an approval before you even when the application was submitted on a date later than yours.

Not sure how you reached a conclusion on the basis of info. on UKBA website that they started considering your application on 29-Oct., but
this webpage isn't about waiting times, even though the header makes you believe so.
If you read carefully you'll note that the information given only tells the reader that applications submitted on/before a given date are being considered (i.e.- perhaps assigned a caseworker and are under process). This is, in no way, a reflection of the time it may take a caseworker to decide on an application. e.g. - an application submitted in Jan'10 may still be undecided while another submitted on 15-Oct may have already been approved.
UKBA does not give out processing times for in-country applications. And will not entertain any calls for status updates before 14 weeks.
