psw while writing dissertation

I am doing MBA topup from an A rated College and University of wales.
My proposal have been approved by the university and only dissertation is to be submitted. the final date of dissertation is 27 March 2011. I am afraid of any expected home office restriction on PSW. since many rules are going to be applied on 1 apr 2011. Can I apply for PSW visa after submitting my dissertation before the university announces the result.
or is there any way to get psw in this situation.

Until the dissertation is graded and results declared, you cannot claim to have MBA qualification.
