Getting a COS from UKBA

Post by daytripper99 » Mon Dec 20, 2010 11:30 am

I'm an Indian national living and working in the UK. I'm currently under the PSW permit and employed by a company for the past 12-14 months.

I currently earn around 21k per year so I'm not eligible for the Tier 1 visa. My company is on the register of sponsors and have agreed to sponsor me.

For this, they have made an application on my behalf in November. For the Certificate of sponsorship, there's a panel who meet to decide if they would like to grand this.

I've heard from an immigration lawer that for the COS, they only consider cases where the salary range of the applicant is over £30- 32k a year. Do you know if there's any truth in this?
