Hi .
I need a small piece of information using this forum. I am on Business Visa which is valid for 6 Month. I need to know whether i can apply for Tier 1 General Visa from UK while i am on Business Visa.
If yes what are the documentation i need to submit & from where i can get all the information about the same.
As per the new guidelines w.e.f from 23rd Dec'2010 Tier 1 General Application Overseas has been stopped for time being. Is it possible for me to apply for the same from UK while on Business Visa.

This is a bit of a loophole isn't it?
Someone can apply for a short course(ie: English language) and student visa then once in country switch to Tier 1 General?

Business visitors cannot switch in-country into Tier 4

I know, I was just making the point/question that it seems possible to switch from Tier 4 to Tier 1 without reference to the OP's situation
