Payslip missing (replacement letter and Copy of payslip)

Hi,

I have a question regarding payslip. I have a payslip missing. My employer has given me a letter (on company letter head) stating following:

"Please accept this letter as confirmation that ..... earned £... Net in the month of ..... 2010 (as per the enclosed copy payslip).

Signed."

The letter is with the copy of the payslip for that month which states the net and gross figure. The payslip is not signed or stamped and letter is signed.

Will this be enough?

My only tiny concern is with no stamp on the letter or payslip.

are these formal payslips or E-payslips etc?

That is good enough for that kind of pay slip. It is just a matter of stamp but it is okay. It is formal and valid because it is signed by the employer.
