please help me am confused

I am on a student visa which will expires in 3 months time,I had a partner who is british and she had a son for me which makes my child british too,I have parental responsibility on the child.my partner had an issue with social services on her other kids and they will in care.they are after my child too and they are about to take him for adoption.I fought for my child and I was assessed in a resisdential unit for about 2 month and the result is positive now I am about to be given a house so I can take care of my son.the social services said I need to change my status as soon as possible.the court gave me the full custody of the child and I am the sole carer..I was told I need to apply for descreational resisdential permit but am thinking of having my post study visa first as a backup..pls advise how long does this discreational resisdential visa takes and do they think I have a good ground.the social services and court and guardian are ready to give me cover letter.id think I have a good ground for this discreational visa please advise.i need to do this as soon as possible

It'll be an application from outside of the rules but I doubt you'd be successful. Can you not marry your partner and apply for a spouse visa?

What do you mean they're giving you a house? You're not allowed to claim any kind of benefits including housing. Is it in your partner's name?

thanks for your reply...they don't want my partner to have any contact with the child because she has a lot of issues with the local authority..they want to pay for my house with my child because am the carer and he is british...if I make any contact between the child and her mum they will take the child..if there will be any contact then it will be supervised..they family court gave me the child and they said I can't leave uk because they are concern the child is not safe in my country..my partner can come and forcefully take the child...

again am not in relationship again with her...am the only person that passed the assessment for the child.and they said the child have to be here because he is british and he got half sisters and brothers here,grandmum,and mum who they might want to have contact with him though its may be supervised by the social services....
