Confused !!

Hey I recently got my Student Visa for UK for 1.5 years for my Masters Degree from Kingston University ie from 24.12.10 till 30.8.2011.

I want to know whether i will fall under new law of PSW or Old Law ie will I get my PSW for 2 years as i applied under old law before April 2011 or will I only get PSW for 1 year .

Confused !! :?

The law in force at the time of application.

No, it means that you'll "come under" the law(s) that apply to you at the time of the application.

No one can tell you today what the law(s) may be in 2011. So wait patiently until closer to the time.

What your Uni says??

Try to get in writing from your uni and also send a query to UKBA.

Who has told you under new law you will get one year PSW ??? Any cast iron reference ?? Home office website ?? minister statement ? Or Purely Guessing ....?

What your Uni says??

Try to get in writing from your uni and also send a query to UKBA.
I havnt asked UNI .. I knw if i ask them they will ask me to go on UKBA site.

My study consultant told me that you will only get PSW for 1 year as rules are changing .. I really dnt knw whats real truth is ???

but someone told me that this rule will be for SEP 2011 students not who applied earlier ...
