EEA family permit. photocopy of the passport

Post by mke.wako » Thu Jan 06, 2011 2:09 pm

Hi I m EEA nationality married to Tanzanian man. He s applying for EEA family permit in the nearest british embassy in him country.
Visa form VAF 5 says that one of the supporting document is : photocopy of my passport.
I also found this information on UK border agency web :
They should include all the documents they can to show that they qualify for an EEA family permit.
As a guide they should include:
a copy of your EEA national passport (endorsed by your embassy in the country of application);

that s what confused me. does it mean my husband has to go to polish embassy in his country for the stamp??

Please help. We have appointment in embassy very soon

No, it means YOU have to go to the Polish embassy here in the UK with photo copies of your passport and have them legalise the photo copies with a stamp and signature from the consul of the Polish embassy.

Then you send them to your husband for him to bring them to the British embassy in Tanzania.

Good intentions are appreciated but results are what matters..
