Post by laspo24 » Thu Jan 06, 2011 11:54 pm

Hi all,
Just wondering what document do I need to present to the Irish embassy in London? as I have 5 Year UK residency card stating family of an EEA national. Got it through my Irish wife. I am looking to visit Ireland on my own.
Secondly, do I need to pay Visa fee? Any Advise will be helpful Thanks.

This are all what I have in mind but not too sure if am right.
Marriage cert.
Her passport,
My passport,
Tenancy agreement,
copy of letter from HO regarding my residency and also dont know if I am Qualify for free visa as family member of an EEA national. Thanks once more.

The documentation you mentioned above are ones required but you also add your bank statement, payslips and hotel booking or a letter from sponsor in Ireland (if any). You also have to pay for the visa. Reason for all above documentation is that you will be judged on your own merit to support and not as a spouse of EU citizen because you are traveling alone.
