Qualifying on PGDBA for Tier 1

Post by add_mah » Thu Jan 06, 2011 2:19 pm

I have just checked on points calculator, its still giving points for PGDBA
1) Does it means now anyone applying for Tier 1 (incountry) with UK PGDBA need to take NARIC letter of equivalency

2) Can anyone please let me know what is the procedure of sending the Degree to NARIC to get assessed

Thanks

Letter of equivalency is only needed if the qualification is not on the points based calculator.

This guy got rejected because he didn’t submitted the letter from NARIC,
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=69509

And this thread says that the HO has changed the rules for those who applying with PGDBA after 15 October
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=66526

I am applying for my visa and just wondering whether to submit the letter of equivalency from NARIC, I don’t want to take chances that will gonna be my first and last chance, so no chances of mistake

Please help me out what I do.

This guy only checked back in October: "last i chkd was in early october and HO was giving points on PGDBA"

And this thread says that the HO has changed the rules for those who applying with PGDBA after 15 October

The statement quoted in this post was removed from UKBA's website, probably because it was incorrect or inaccurate.

If qualification is on the points-based calculator and it awards you with points, you can claim the points. Show me where the UKBA says that you need to submit NARIC certificate for a qualification where the calculator awards points for it.

Where does the post say that the VISA was rejected because NARIC letter was not attached?
