Australian passport holder, HK Birthcertificate apply for UK

Post by natalie_n123 » Sun Jan 09, 2011 10:10 pm

HI,

I am currently working in the UK on a Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa for 2 years. I hold an Australian passport, however, I was born in Hong Kong in 1984 and still hold a Hong Kong birthcertificate.

Is there any avenues in which I can apply to remain longer in the UK? I understand that Hong Kong was once a British Colony.

Thank you for your reply.

Natalie

Being born in HK is of no benefit to you in this situation.

You can apply for any of the normal routes you are eligible for, ie: Tier 2.
