1. Yes. T1G Dependents are not affected. See http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/vafs/ (VAF10 form and guidance notes). This is assuming your to-be wife is outside UK.hrayro wrote:Hello,
I have few very important for me questions. Would be pleased if somebody can provide answers(only if you are sure that you know right answer please ). You can answer only to one if you want, but please definite, clearly and detailly. Thank you so much in advance.
So, I have Tier 1 visa which i got on August/2010. Currently i am in the UK and working as an IT developer for local startup company.
1) I am going to get married in next few months, so can my wife still apply for Tier 1 dependant(what are requirement for her and for me ? ). Any guideline would be perfect.
2) In August 2012 i will need to apply for extension, so as i understand Tier 1 is closed, and i need to switch to Tier 2, is it right? And if yes, then what are requirements for that? In other words what should i do till August/2012 to be sure that i can apply and get extension(salary, days spent in the UK,etc?)
Now sit back relax!! and plan for your honeymoon!!hrayro wrote:Hello,

Tier 1 G immigrants will get extention subject to extention rules in force at time when they get initial leave to remain as Tier 1 G
Please see http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier2/ for rules and whether you can switch into it or not. ICT is for overseas employees coming to UK. T2 General is different to this and has its own limits (recently announced - http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteco ... e-overseas) - read the part for T2.hrayro wrote:Thanks for answers,
2nd question is too important.
Well, one more question - there is Tier 2 intra company transfer, so if for some reason i am not able to extend my Tier 1, can i switch to Tier 2 intra company visa, cause the company where i work for has a branch in my country as well
