American on Stamp 4 - travel in EU for work training?

Post by mSe265 » Mon Jan 10, 2011 9:53 pm

I'm an American citizen with a Stamp 4.

I'm looking for information about possibly travelling to EU countries for 3-4 weeks for work training. These countries don't require an entry visa for Americans, nor does Ireland, and I would be on an Irish payroll. Would this time out of Ireland affect my Stamp 4?

If anyone has experience with a similar situation, or can point me to links I'd really appreciate it.

I dont think being out for few weeks has any affect on stamp 4 that is only if you are out for a lot longer period of time, as far as traveling for training is concerned you would have required the visa if you would have from a country where you need visas to travel, but as an American you do not need visa to visit EU countries and alot of other non-EU countries around the world. See below for the list...
