Can a Tier 2 (ICT) Partner Visa start work start?

Post by olivier » Tue Jan 11, 2011 5:46 pm

Hi. I am looking for information urgently on whether a dependent on Tier 2 (ICT) Partner Visa is allowed to start work earlier than the principal Tier 2 (ICT) Visa holder?

Thanks!

No, 319(D)a., unless the main applicants visa is valid already.

Tier 2 (ICT) Partner Visa

Mulder - thanks for the quick reply.

Both our visas are valid and activated. However, my wife's contract is only starting later, while I got a job offer.

I have been told my wife's contract need to start first, prior to me starting work, and another conflicting info that since our visas are valid, it does not matter.

Thus, I am hoping to have more info on this.

Thanks!
