Tier 1 extension dependant application form for child

Hello I am applying for extend my Tier 1 visa for me and my family, I am filling the application form for my son who is 12 years old, in Section 5: Consent given to UKBA befor requests for verification are sent to the bank, From the applicant: Name and address of applicant, shall I fill my son's name or my name? (He has no bank account)There's also name and address of joint customer: this should fill my husband's name as we have joint account, am I right or wrong here, any suggestions?

Help urgently needed, aiming to post tomorrow, but still confused about what applicant means, is it means main applicant or dependant who make the application?

Thanks, finally there are response, yes, I understand applicant=dependant, but my son is only 12, surely I shouldn't put his name as applicant to give consent for verificatio check from bank, he doesn't has any bank details?

If the main Tier 1 (General) applicant or migrant has been in the UK for less than 12 months, you must show that you or they have at least £1,600 to support you, in addition to the funds needed to support them.

If the main applicant or migrant has been in the UK for 12 months or more, you or they must have at least £533 to support you.

Parents sign such docs on the behalf of their kids. I think it's also mentioned in policy guideline. Any one parent can sign for kid. You both can sign for your satisfaction.
If you want to be more legal, write down below before signing

For & on behalf of Mr Son
