Tier1(PSW) to Tier 4 Dependent.

I have an issue and wondering whether you have got an answer or solution for my issue. The issue goes like this. I am under Tier1(PSW) VISA WHICH IS GOING TO EXPIRE ON 5TH FEBRUARY 2012. I have a partner whom i am going to marry in June 2011 and she is under Tier 4 visa which was issued before 31 March 2009 and her visa is going to expire on Jan 2012. My partner is applying for an course which is of 3 years from Sep 2011, at that time i will be married with my partner and was wondering whether i can be dependent on her for that period of her visa and work full time for that period. Can i switch from Tier1(PSW) to Tier 4 dependent. And if i can switch my Tier, do i need to do my application from home country or can i do it from UK it self. Thank you.

You'll need to apply for entry clearance as dependant from outside the UK.

Any 'Dependant' switching from one PBS Tier to another is not allowed in-country.

And just for information, the under-process Tier 4 law changes which will be enforced from either March / April 2011, UKBA proposed restrictions on work eligibility on Tier 4 dependent but it is subject to final approval.
