Tier1-dependent -Letter from friends house for Accomodation?

Post by ramramsen » Sun Jan 09, 2011 11:14 pm

Hello Folks

I am going to apply for Tier 1 visa for my would be from India in Jan End.
I am staying in my Family Friends house for the last 1 year in UK. It is my friends own house. Its a 3 bedroom house. o

Can I get a No Objection Certificate & covering letter from the Landlord for allowing to stay me and my in their house?

I get all my bank statements there and voters registration here in this house.

I don't know whether that is allowed or considered for Visa application in India by VFS or Consulates?

Please guide me in this.
If it won't work means i have to get a separate accommodation.

Regards
Ram

It is not a problem, all they see is a room which is not overcrowded. For a couple, one standard size bedroom is sufficient. Get a no-objection letter from landlord which also hold a bit detail about the 3 bedrooms, reception room e.t.c.

I'm also in the same situation.
I have a contract with my name which is including all bills with rent but its a seperate studio flat. will it be an issue for applying dependent visa?

Thanks a lot for the reply guys.

I was confused. I guess, It comes under staying with Family or Family Friends category . So i am not paying any rent & also they don't rent their house for others.

But they can give No Objection letter for staying with my wife in their 3 bed room house. But they cannot give me like a legal tenancy agreement (becoz they r not renting the house)

i hope it will work for the dependent visa.

Did any one applied like that & got the visa?
