hello people, i need an urgent advice about my application. my visa expires on the 30th of January 2011 and my school board has not processed my results that means i don't have my certificate and my school can't provide me with a letter due to late registration. Although i have been maintaining my account for 90days and i have my funds available. What do u think i can do?

hope that your certificate, or letter of award confirmation comes before 30th,

otherwise you will have to go to your home country and apply from there...

OMG Is that the only option i have got to go back to my home country? because the board is sitting on the 17th of february and can't issue anything before then

I am sorry..but this is the only option, if your results comes out after your visa is expiring....

Don't worry too much. I am in the same position, almost exactly, and we just have to have faith that applying from our home countries will be ok, as long as the applications are posted before April, when they make their announcement. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but I really think the chances are extremely good for those applying from their home countries if they do so before the April deadline.

For my Uni, the board meeting is on Feb 2 but I have the letter and can apply. If you get your letter before Jan 30 you can apply... Just see that the letter mentions the date of award...

I dont understand how you got your letter before the board meeting?

In my letter the Uni has already given the award date and have mentioned that I have been awarded the degree.. THey have also also that my award will be FORMALLY conferred after the Board Meeting..the word recommendation is not mentioned...
