Indefinite Leave to Remain for My Children

Post by Nolene68 » Mon Jan 17, 2011 6:02 pm

I have had conflicting advice so I'm hoping somebody here will know...

I came to the UK in Dec 2007 on an Ancestry Visa and my 3 children were on my Visa application.
My husband came at the same time but he applied for his own Ancestry Visa through his Grandfather.
I have since obtained Citizenship by Descent as my mother was born in the UK.
My husband and I have separated.
*Can I get ILR for my children as I am now a British Citizen?
*My eldest child was 15 when we arrived and is now 19 and studying. Can he get ILR as a dependent?
OR
Do they have to wait out the 5 years for the Ancestry Visa?

The change from the Ancestry Visa to Citizenship seems to confuse!
