Does child visa stamp contain who h/she be accompanied with?

Post by simantadatta » Mon Jan 17, 2011 7:23 pm

I got my daughter's visa stamped from Mumbai BHC today, applied her Tier 2 visa separately (I am in UK)

However, I noticed there is no mention of who she must be accompanied with when she comes to UK. I had put my wife's name for that in the application form. But the Visa just says "TIER 2 CHILD" - and no word on accompany or anything.

Is that normal ? Can someone let me know what is typically written in the children's visa for Tier 2 ?

Can there be any problem at the port of entry as my wife and child would come together and I will be here in UK. I had sent a separate letter as No objection of my child's travel with my wife when I applied for the visa as my company had asked for it. I am only worrying because I won't be coming with them and dont want the immigration officer to not believe them, but at the same time, a Visa is a Visa and it's been issued by UKBA without any restriction to it, so I see no reason why there can be any problem at the port of entry even if I am not there, only my wife and child.
