I got arrested on suspicion of taking higher refunds of merchandise items by presenting the lower price items (that were actually bought too), and later released on bail to reappear to the police station in 3 month's time.
Untill this time Police has to undergo an investigation to find the evidence
Now the problem is that I don't know if i'll get a caution or be prosecuted, It all depends upon evidence.
Considering this I'm worried about my status, few days before the arrest I had sent my passport (I currently hold PSW) for Certificate of Approval and also got an acknowledgement letter from Border Agency.
Could some body advise me what should I do at this time as to whether to go ahead and register my marriage and then apply for a spouse visa on the basis of my girl friend's status. And what are likely effects of any caution or conviction?
