About.. when you were given indefinite leave to enter

Post by shan1 » Thu Jan 27, 2011 12:03 pm

Hi All,
Just bit confused about what date should I put in 1.3 (Please say when you were given indefinite leave to enter/remain in the UK) and was wondering if you could help me with it.

I was eligible to apply for me ILR on 27th January 2010 and applied for same day service on 5th of january 2010.

Now when I am applying for naturalisation, I am not sure which date should I put in 1.3 where it asks the date I got ILR?

I got a letter from home office when I got ILR (on 5th Jan 2010) that my ILR will actually start from (27th Jan 2010) but I have unfortunately lost that letter, so can't attach it and my passport has 5th January 2010 stamp date. So really not sure what to do.

Any idea would be great help.
Thanks,

5th Jan as per your stamp in the passport.
