Please Help on ILR ( 10 years resident)

Hi all,

I am considering to apply ILR on the ground of 10 years long residency. I arrived in UK, April 2001 as a student. In 2007 I applied asylum while my student visa is still valid. I have been granted as a Refugee in March 2008, two weeks before my student visa expired. In coming April, my residency will be into 10 years.

My concern is does the status change (student to refugee) will affect to apply 10 yrs residency?
