T2 visa perod is more than job offer....

Hi
I have got 1 yr t2 visa but job is for six month.

Do i need to apply for sponsorship and visa for extension in the UK after six months for the same job? and

Do i need to apply for sponsorship and visa for extension in the UK after six months for the job under different employer ?

Why did you get a visa for 12 months? Surely your sponsorship was for 12 months? If not, it would seem the 12 months visa is a mistake.

If you stop being employed by that sponsor then they are supposed to notify the UKBA and then you are either supposed to leave or get new sponsorship and CoS, then apply for leave to be granted in line with the new CoS.

but if the remaining leave is LESS than 6 months from the date your contract is over. ukba will not reduce it to 60 days.

so atleast you can stay in uk....

but you MUST NOT work after your contract is over.
