Do I need Invoices Im Sole Trader...??

Do I need Invoices Im Sole Trader...??

I hope some1 is kind enough to reply me.
I own a shop business and im applying tier1 g, I get different opinions regarding earning points claims.... im attaching the following docs.

1. Balance Sheet

2. Business bank statement

3. Accounts and Accountant's Letter

4. Profit & Loss Statement

Now my question is do i need invoices which i hv issued to my customers.? if i need then how can i submit the piles of invoices issued to my customers coz i run a retail business. plz advice me on this wt im suppose to do n do i need nyother documents as a sole trader. tnx in adv i will highly appreciate .

As far as i am aware, Yes, you have to attach invoices for all the earnings you claim as a sole trader. Invoices are the most important document. Application will straight away get refused if u dont include your invoices.

But again, i would advise u to take a professional advise through OISC registered advisers.

if you provide sales summary with name , adress and contact details of yr client than no need of invoices

Thnx for ur advice... but the only problem i have here is its shop retail business and customers do not give us any sort of address or details... we give them receipts from till or from the receipt book its different from the setup of the contractor or any other self employment.. plz advice. i will highly appreciate. thnx

U WILl be ok if u have

1.card transaction
2. shop rental agreement
3.purchase invoices
4.utility bills in business name

thnx Sushil u helped more than nyone..

i have got paypal statements automatic generated for purchasing which shows business expenses to buy stuff.

Shop tenancy agreement for old shop and lease for new shop.

i hope one or two bill should be enough for the Home office.

Accountant's letters and profit & loss statements.

12 months business bank statement.
12 months personal bank statement.
I hope i dnt need nythin else.

If anythin else u think is needed plz lemme know i will highly appreciate.

Just one more question plz... do i really need an Audit from auditor.. Coz my accountant just told me that i need to pay an extra fee to get the services of an auditor and its a new requirement of Home Office to have audit.. plz reply wt im suppose to do...

yr accountant is ignorant or making fool u or he may be unqualified so he is outsourcing this work

till turn over £6,500,000.00 with other conditions no audit is required

be smart from these people
