4 Original Bank Statements for 3 dependants in Pakistan

Post by salloo » Wed Feb 09, 2011 11:06 am

Hi Experts,
I am sorry if this is already posted but I don't think so, because I am constantly seeing this forum since very long. I just had this situation today.

My wife just had the appointment and the operator told her that Main Applicant need 2 origional bank statements and dependants need 1 origional bank statement while applying for dependant visa of Tier-1. I am on Tier-1 in UK and my family (Wife and 2 sons) are going to apply for dependant visa.

Please help me in this, I alreay posted them origional bank statement and it took like 20 days to reach these to them. I had only 1 copy of the origional bank statement which I already sent to my family in Pakistan. Now, after a long wait, when we are ready to apply and took the appointment the operator mentioned we need 4 copies of origional bank statements, 2 for main applicant (my wife) 1 for each dependants (my 2 sons). I have not seen such thing in UKBA website and not even on UKVACPK website checklist.

Please guide me in this case. Urgent Please, we've appointment on 11th of Feb.

Thank you very much safdar for sharing this.

I can arrange every thing else but I can not arrange any thing about pay slips or employer letters. Because I am not working. I have read the guideness and it says, you don't need to be in employment to apply for dependants visa. I have Also consult with 2 lawyers and they are saying the same thing that you have to show maintenance funds for your family and that the marriage is genuine and subsisting.there is no need to be in employment.I have got around 25000 thousand pounds for funds from last 6 months .

I am away from my kids since 1 year and I don't want to be get late more and you know in this current situation it is not east to get a good job quickly.

What you think will I be ok if I submitt my application without having to show any job?

Definitly OK AUHS. You are a rich man. :-)
You'll be allright, just mention any of your self employment activity so that they know you are doing something.

Pray for me and Best of Luck for you. (I know what is like when you are away from your family, I am also away from my family since a long time)

Thank you very much Safdar

To be honest that money belonges to my beloved dad .I asked him to put in my account before 6 months. Any way you know our culture is . Dad,s money is your,s money there is no difference and that's the reason I am proud of our culture.

Don't worry brother inshallah Allah will do better for us. We just need to pray hard and every thing will be fine .

I will definitely pray for you and you please remember me in your prayers.
