English Language Certificate Not Ready

Hello

married 11th Dec, Wife ESOL upper intermediate English test Listening & speaking passed in late Nov, but no certificate forthcoming for maybe another 4 weeks from now. Application made 8th Jan and included letter from college explaining situation (stating certificate could take up to 8 weeks from early Jan).

Just received letter from UKBA stating deadline for certificate of 4th March. High risk of not being able to submit certificate on time.


What is best course of action ?

contact college to explain the situation and ask if they can provide the certificate sooner?

have asked college and they cannot do this as awaiting certificate from Edexcel

Why don't you try calling Edexcel and get some info from them. You should have a student ID that you can provide as a reference. If you explaing your situation to them, I am sure there might be something they can do.
