tier general, dependent visa , self employed

hi all,
i have applied for tier 1 general in jan 2011, hopefully i would get my visa in the next month, i am self employed my question is that when i apply for my wife from pakistan, one of the requirements is to show the pay slips, in my case there are no pay slips so what do i need to show them a proof of my income? help is much needed and would be really appreciated ,

You don't need to show any pay-slips or employment proof as this is not a requirement by Ukba.If you read their policy guidance and supporting documents list on Uk VFS than you will know everything.

You have to show only maintenance funds in you bank account 3 months prior to you application.

I am not working at the moment and I will not submit any pay-slips etc with my application.

I have asked a lot of solicitors also and they are saying the same thing that pay slips/in employment are not necessary/requirement .


We need to prepare3/4 things

1:marriage proof(nikah Nama)
2:marriage subsisting proof
3:maintenance for all dependent for 3 month

4: Accommodation proof(tenancy contract) inspection report etc

thanks for ur help bro, i am planning to apply as soon as my visa extends, i have been in uk for more than a year so i know that i need to show £533+£800 , but if i go to pakistan and apply there for my wife, how much funds do i need to show? is that £1600+£800, ?(as i have got no kids), and i have opened an account in my wife name in pakistan , can we show that bank statement for both of us , as it would be easy to get an up to date bank statement as i would be bck home,

You need to show 800+533.as you are in the uk more than a year.I think it does not matter that you go and apply for your wife from there .

Yes you can use your wife bank account statement for maintenance funds proof.
